Training

During the course of our business, we have found it necessary to train our staff as our requirements changed.

We decided to do this in house as we found that that external course content rarely reflected business needs.

One of our staff, an ex lecturer in IT, wrote some course outlines and we took it from there. The results were excellent. The staff were happier, the technical support had less calls and reports, and the quality of presentations, and spreadsheet development soared.

Gradually we took in people from other companies and our training courses have grown.

We have now decided to open our courses further and now have use of a facility in Slough that will take 6 people for each course. We concentrate solely on Microsoft Office, file management, using a network, use of file extensions and naming conventions.

Since we started doing this there has been a big reduction in calls to Tech Support and noticable improvement in productivity.
